What do you mean by Ingrown Toenail cutting a V in the nail?

I know what an ingrown toenail is, but what do you mean by cutting a V? Is it painful? What do you mean by Ingrown Toenail cutting a V in the nail?
This idea dosent work, i've had 2 ingrown toenails chemically removed (they burn out the cells that produce the nail) this is the best and only way to get it to work, and bear in mind, your only allowed 3 times the normal anesthetic before they cant give you anymore, it hurts like hell, from age 14-16 i had one and they just cut it up the sides and tryed 2 burn that off, didnt work... just get it surgically removed and within a week you'll be able 2 run again without the pain lolWhat do you mean by Ingrown Toenail cutting a V in the nail?
No. You cut a small v shape in the center of the nail and it helps relieve growing pressure on the in growth.
forget it ; it does not work. The idea is you cut a small v shape on the edge of the nail instead of just having a flat edge...... don't bother !
ok so this is something I know my toes used to be horrible!! what you do is you get the ingrown out first, and then in the middle of your toenail you cut a little v-shape! It's as easy as that
