What do you do about an ingrown toenail?

I get regular pedicures, and my nails are still ingrown. I am a hairstylist and on my feet all day, and by the end of the day my feet ACHE! Do I have to go to a doctor, or is there a home remedy that could help me?What do you do about an ingrown toenail?
Ingrown toenails have a lot to do with the type of shoes you're wearing. You may be wearing bad or too narrow shoes. Invest in good quality shoes that fit well.

Stay away from pointy toed shoes and high heels if you can. Look for shoes with a wider toe. You might have the clerk at the shoestore fit you to make sure you're wearing the correct size. Invest in a pair of nice clogs for work. Clarks makes some nice looking clogs with a wider toe that are feminine and classy enough to wear at work.

Let your nails grow out a bit farther than you normally do, and don't let the pedicurist trim them short. Sometimes getting them to grow past a certain point keeps them from cutting into the toe.

At your station at work, do you have a floor mat to take some of the stress off of your body? Standing on hard concrete floors all day takes a big toll on your whole body, not just your feet. You can end up with degenerative back problems as well as foot, ankle, and knee problems when you work long-term on hard floors. Invest in a floor mat if you don't already have one.

Good luck! What do you do about an ingrown toenail?
Go to the doctor and have them removed. If you try it yourself you'll just butcher your toes... and it'll hurt a lot more!
yea u should probably see a pediatrist.
dont wear tight shoes....
