I have an ingrown toenail and it's infected, so the doctor put me on antibiotics for it and i only have 2 left, how do i know if it's getting better? When should it start clearing up? I've been taking the pills for 6 days now and it looks a LITTLE better. So what do you think?How to know if your ingrown toenail is getting better?
It sounds like it's getting better but if the pain returns or swelling worsens again go back to your doctor. Sometimes it'll take a little more than just the one week of antibiotics to clear up a stubborn infection. Just keep and eye on it.
