You can't I had the same problems with both of my big toes. I had to go to the podiatrists and have that little section cut and pulled out. You have to get this done as it will get infected and with out treatment losing your toe will be the least of your worries as infection does and can spread up the leg or into your blood. Its way less painful and less expensive to just go and get it taken care of than to put it off.How do you treat a infected ingrown toenail with out going to the doctor???
i had those too. i went to the doctor and he pulled em out. it HURT! so thats the only answe i kno. srry.

don't let it go you could lose the toe to gangrene
you can try soaking your foot in some warm water %26amp; Epsom's salt, and pulling it out. You can get it at any store like Wal-Mart or Walgreens. But I stongly suggest going to the doctor though cause those things can get real bad.
