How do you fix an ingrown toenail?

My right big toe is so swollen on the right side of it that it hurts to barely even touch it. I've tried thousands of things, from side clippers, to eyebrow trimmers, to peroxide, to even toothpicks. Nothing has worked.

Now, it's starting to get infected, I think. There is this white pus looking stuff coming out of it.

How can I fix it myself without going to a doctor, and how long is it safe to wait? How do you fix an ingrown toenail?
sounds too late already, you should go to a doctor, or podiatrist. if you can't, the only option is very painful. you have to pull the nail off. yes, pull it off. it hurts, even if you go to the doctor and they numb your toe first. but if it gets really infected, you could lose your entire toe. if it's got puss in it, it's infected. get some help, if you can. good luck. How do you fix an ingrown toenail?
You could try cutting the nail on a shallow angle towards the ingrown part and then peeling the angled cut part out , No lie this will hurt big time, try soaking it in hot water and epsom salts 1st. and then after
no. you don't try any else, go see a doctor right away to operate it emergency. goodluck.
