How can I heal an ingrown toenail fast?

I am a dancer and I have an ingrown toenail that hurts really bad! I need a fast solution on how to make it go away without hurting too much. Please help me!How can I heal an ingrown toenail fast?
Take an emery board, and file across the top of your toenail, until the nail is soft on top, actually on the top, not the edge of the nail. (it will be a little tender for a day or two) Do this until you have a complete growth cycle of the nail (about a year, you will have to file it about every 6-8 weeks or so) It will make the nail stronger in the center, and weaker on the sides after a while, and the nails will naturally grown out of the skin, permanently. Then have regular pedicures to keep the nails trim and filed to the right shape. (You can get cheap pedis at a nail school)How can I heal an ingrown toenail fast?
Its from having sweaty feet inside shoes that are too small for your feet. Get wider bigger shoes that allow your feet to splay out some, instead of the narrow pointed shoes you have now that are probably two sizes too small and two sizes two narrow. Why are you torturing yourself with the wrong size shoes when you rely on your feet sooooo much? Swallow your pride, throw away the 5B shoes and get those 12EEE shoes your feet actually --need-- to be happy in!
soak in warm water with epson salt.

my grandfather's remedy was to cut a small little ';v'; out of the tip of the nail so that it would flex a little and take pressure off of the sides. if it was really bad he'd also put a small little balled up piece of cotton under the nail on the side it's digging into.

neither of those are from a doctor, but they work. i can't imagine either would do any harm.

also, sometimes i pull the toe away from the nail, like roll the skin outward if that makes any sense. sometimes if there is a small infection this will allow some of the pus to drain.
The best thing to do is go to a foot doctor but since u have no time try soaking ur foot one or twice a day for 15 min in warm water with a tablespoon of epsom salt water that should help good luck
you can't heal an ingrown toenail but when you cut your toenails cut them straight across. When you cut them curved it causes ingrown toenails.
cut it out...it hurts but its the only way I know

numb it with ice first and use alcohol
Soak it in salt water.
